Arid International University Announces the Formation of the New Board of Trustees

Arid International University for Higher Studies is pleased to announce the decision by Secretary-General Dr. Saif Al-Sewaidi to form the Board of Trustees for the period from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025. This step comes in line with the university’s commitment to effective governance and strategic oversight, in accordance with the university’s regulatory framework.

Duties and Powers of the Board of Trustees: The Board of Trustees will act as the highest authority responsible for governance and strategic oversight of the university, with the following powers:

Providing guidance and support to the university president to ensure academic and administrative goals are achieved.

Enhancing financial sustainability by developing funding strategies and growing the university’s resources.

Expanding international relations and strengthening partnerships with global academic and research institutions.

Ensuring the university's compliance with international standards of quality and academic innovation.

Organizing regular meetings and effectively managing decision-making processes.
