The Secretary-General of ARID International University Embarks on International Visits to Strengthen Academic Cooperation

Dr. Saif Al-Sewaidi, CEO and founder of the ARID Scientific Platform and Secretary-General of ARID International University, conducted a series of international visits that included several countries such as Kurdistan Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kosovo, and the Maldives. These visits aimed at signing cooperation agreements and discussing matters related to the accreditation and launch of ARID International University for Graduate Studies.

The tour concluded with a visit to Egypt, covering cities like Cairo, Port Said, Asyut, Luxor, and Hurghada. During his visit, Dr. Al-Sewaidi met with numerous scholars, experts, and researchers who are members of the ARID platform, listening to various developmental initiatives and ideas. He also presented insights on the platform’s current projects and future plans, emphasizing the benefits of the cooperation agreements with over 90 prestigious universities and institutions worldwide.

Throughout these visits, Dr. Al-Sewaidi discussed ways to develop the platform’s infrastructure and its courses in Malaysia, Iraq, Qatar, Turkey, and the UK, as well as creating an optimal environment for the launch of the university and its proposed colleges, including the College of Health Sciences, College of Artificial Intelligence, College of Engineering and Technology, College of Basic Sciences, College of Integrated Educational Sciences, College of Sharia and Legal Studies, College of Languages and Humanities, and the College of Management and Social Studies.

He also touched on the university’s programs, which focus on interdisciplinary studies and future-oriented specializations, and the efforts to provide suitable practical and field environments for the academic degrees the university plans to offer, such as diplomas, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

At the end of his visits, Dr. Al-Sewaidi expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality he received, praising the spirit of collaboration that unites the ARID platform’s community, which now includes over 122,000 scholars, experts, and researchers from around the world. He conveyed his hope for continued growth and progress, contributing to the platform’s noble mission of serving the scientific community for Arabic speakers globally.
